'Seventeen Power of Love: The Movie' set for release on April 20

Seventeen’s first movie “Seventeen Power of Love: The Movie” is set for release in CGV theaters worldwide on April 20, the boy band’s agency Pledis Entertainment said Thursday.

On Seventeen’s social media accounts, it is described as “a movie letter from Seventeen to Carat [the name for Seventeen’s fans].”

The movie will show interviews with all 13 members, as well as some behind-the-scenes stories.

The band previously held an online concert called “Power of Love” in November last year. Scenes of the concert will also be featured in the movie.

Tickets will go on sale from March 17.

Seventeen debuted as a 13-member band in 2015 with the EP “17 Carat.” It is known for hits such as “Adore U” (2015), “Don't Wanna Cry” (2017) and “Ready to Love” (2021). The band will host a fan meet called “Seventeen in Carat Land” both online and offline from March 25 to 27.
