The release of the debut album of rookie girl group ILY:1 (pronounced eye-lee-one) has been postponed, its agency FCENM said Friday.
Through a statement, the agency said that the group will debut in April instead of next week, due to the aftermath of confirmed cases of Covid-19.
FCENM did not state who tested positive.
The debut showcase event of its debut album “Love in Bloom” has also been postponed to a date that will be announced later.
Since earlier this week, teaser clips of each of the members were posted on the group’s social media channels.
Comprised of six members, the members of ILY:1 are Hana, Ara, Rona, Ririka, Nayu and Elva. All the members except Elva have appeared on Mnet’s idol audition program "Girls Planet 999" (2021).
The group has been uploading its promotional pre-debut reality show “ILY:0” on YouTube since early February. It released a pre-debut single titled “Azalea” on Monday.
