Rookie girl group ILY:1 (pronounced eye-lee-one) released teaser clips of its upcoming album ahead of its official debut next week.

As of Tuesday, 20-second clips for four of the ILY:1’s members had been released on the group's YouTube channel. Each displaying one member at a time, the videos hint at the bright yet mysterious mood of the group’s new song.

ILY:1 also appeared on Arirang TV’s Simply K-Pop Con-Tour Monday and performed to a song titled “Azalea.” “Azalea” is a song co-created by globally renowned producers Steven Lee, Sean Alexander and Darren Smith.

The track is about planting a seed of love and hoping that its flowers will fully blossom one day.

Under entertainment agency FCENM, the group is set to debut with its album “Love in Bloom” on March 15.

The album is produced by Steven Lee, who has also produced girl group Oh My Girl’s “The Fifth Season" (2019) and "Nonstop” (2021).

Comprised of six members, ILY:1 members are Hana, Ara, Rona, Ririka, Nayu and Elva. All the members except Elva have appeared on Mnet’s idol audition program "Girls Planet 999" (2021).

Hana and Ririka are Japanese, Rona is Taiwanese and the other three members are Korean.

The girl group has been uploading its promotional pre-debut reality show “ILY:0” on YouTube since early February.
