JTBC’s television series “Thirty-Nine” aired its final episode Thursday, scoring the highest rating in its 12-episode run.

According to data analytics company Nielsen Korea on Friday, the 12th episode had an 8.1 percent viewership rating.

Actors Son Ye-jin, Jeon Mi-do and Kim Ji-hyun play best friends who are all 39 years old. The show concentrates on the trio’s experiences as they turn 40.

The last episode of “Thirty-Nine” aired the same day Son married actor Hyun Bin. The two actors have been dating since starring together on tvN’s television series “Crash Landing on You” (2019-20).

Nothing related to the ceremony was revealed to the public except for the fact that the groom’s longtime best friend, actor Jang Dong-gun, gave a congratulatory speech. The two actors’ agencies did release wedding photos of the bride and groom.

“Thirty-Nine” is available on Netflix.
