Girl group Twice will host an additional concert in Los Angeles on May 15 after tickets for its encore concert “4th World Tour III- Encore” sold out.

On March 31, its agency JYP Entertainment announced Twice will hold an encore concert on May 14 at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. But after the May 14 concert sold out in a day since the ticket purchase opened Wednesday, the agency announced it would hold yet another concert.

The group recently wrapped up its U.S. tour “4th World Tour III” in February.

At its February tour, the group performed in five cities in the U.S. — Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth, Atlanta and New York. The group hosted two more shows in Los Angeles and New York due to popular demand. A total of 100,000 fans are reported to have attended the performances.

The group also will host an additional concert in Tokyo Dome in Japan on April 25 after tickets for concerts on April 23 and 24 sold out. The concert is a continuation of "4th World Tour III."

Twice debuted with the EP “The Story Begins” (2015) with the lead song “Like Ooh-Ahh.” The group became widely popular with the song “Cheer Up” (2016) and has since released hits like “TT” (2016), “Feel Special” (2019) and “Alcohol-Free” (2021). The group has nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
