Presales of HYBE’s new girl group Le Sserafim’s debut EP “Fearless” surpassed 270,000 units within a week of its release, according to Source Music Thursday.

Le Sserafim is a girl group which HYBE and Source Music, a label under HYBE, will launch together.

The EP's trailer titled “The World Is My Oyster” and the group’s promotional video “Le Sserafim 2022 Fearless Show” garnered over 4 million views on YouTube.

“At this rate, the presales for ‘Fearless’ will easily surpass 300,000,” Source Music predicted.

Le Sserafim is an anagram of “I’m Fearless,” symbolizing the girl group’s concept that it will venture out into the world without feeling afraid of others’ opinions.

The sextet consists of Sakura, Kim Ga-ram, Kim Chae-won, Hong Eun-chae, Kazuha and Huh Yun-jin. Sakura and Kim Chae-won are ex-members of IZ*ONE, a project girl group formed from Mnet’s K-pop survival program “Produce 48” (2018).

The group’s official debut is set at 6 p.m. on May 2. It will also hold an online and offline showcase at 8 p.m. the same day.
