Kang Daniel confirmed his comeback will be on May 24 and teased it with a trailer on Monday.

On Sunday midnight, Kang’s agency Konnect Entertainment uploaded "‘The Story’ Trailer" on its official YouTube and social media accounts.

The 90-second video gives off a mysterious atmosphere surrounding the singer and his search for a story.

Rumors have been circulating since last month that the singer would make a comeback, over a year after he wrapped up his “Color trilogy” series with “Yellow” last April. The singer himself has been hinting that there will be many offline concerts and fan gatherings in online videos he recently posted.

Kang debuted as a member of boy band Wanna One in 2017, which consisted of eleven finalists from the second season of Mnet’s hit audition show “Produce 101.” After Wanna One disbanded in 2019, he made a solo debut with the EP “Color on Me.”

Recently on April 21, Kang performed his hit track “Antidote” (2021) for the Recording Academy’s “Press Play” series.
