BTS will drop a new album titled “Proof” next month as a wrap-up of their 9 years of activities since debuting in 2013.

“BTS will drop an Anthology album ‘Proof’ consisting of three CDs on June 10,” Big Hit Music announced via its fan community platform Weverse on Thursday.

The release of a CD album comes 11 months since the band last dropped a CD EP containing the two tracks “Butter” (2021) and “Permission to Dance” (2021) last July.

The band's last full album “Be” was released a year and seven months ago in November 2020.

“BTS is celebrating its 9th anniversary since the band debuted in June 2013,” the agency said. “All of this is credited to ARMY [the name of BTS’s fandom], who have enduringly loved and supported BTS.

“In the band’s 10th year as an artist and before moving on to the next chapter, we have decided to release an Anthology album looking back on BTS’s history and its activities up until now,” the agency said. “Consisting of three CDs, the album will contain three new songs and tracks which represent the members’ thoughts on BTS’s past, present and future.”

Copies of “Proof” can be reserved from 11 a.m. Thursday and will be officially released on June 10, three days prior to the band’s debut anniversary on June 13.
