SM Entertainment released a remastered version of its rock band TraxX’s debut music video “Paradox” on its YouTube channel Wednesday.

The video is part of the K-pop powerhouse’s MV Remastering Project, which launched in November 2021. The project digitally remasters the video and audio quality of SM artists’ old music videos from the 1990s and 2000s.

“Paradox” was TraxX's debut single, released in October 2004. The song garnered attention for its straightforward lyrics and addictive guitar riff hook. Fans can now enjoy the band’s unconventional visuals in 4K resolution.

TraxX, formerly known as The Trax and Trax, was originally a four-member rock band which consisted of Typhoon Jay, Rose Minwoo, Attack Jungwoo and Xmas Jungmo. The band name is an acronym of “Typhoon Rose Attack Xmas.” Minwoo and Jungwoo left the band between 2006 and 2007. In 2018, the band name was changed to TraxX with DJ and producer Ginjo joined, changing the group's genre from rock to electronic dance music. TraxX unofficially disbanded after Jay and Jungmo left SM Entertainment when their contracts expired.
