Actor Kim Sae-ron, who was booked for drunk driving last week, will not be filming more scenes for the upcoming Netflix action noir series "Hunting Dogs," according to the streaming platform on Monday.

"The actor's scenes have mostly been filmed already and we are currently in discussion to decide if we are going to edit out her parts," said the staff from Netflix Korea.

The filming for "Hunting Dogs" began in December 2021 and is expected to wrap up next month.

Last week, the actor dropped out of the upcoming SBS drama series "Trolley," which had not started filming yet.

On May 18, Kim was reported to have damaged more than three lampposts and several guardrails while driving under the influence of alcohol in Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul. She crashed her SUV into an electric transformer, cutting off electricity to nearby cafes for several hours, and kept driving despite the collisions until she was stopped by the police. She failed a breathalyzer test and had her blood drawn for further analysis.

She released an apology on May 20, admitting to destroying public property because she was drunk.

"Due to my wrong judgment and behavior, I caused so much damage to the storeowners, citizens and to those who have to restore the property," said Kim in a statement. "I should have been more prudent and acted responsibly, but I didn’t. I am truly sorry."

Other actors starring in "Hunting Dogs" are Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Park Sung-woong and Huh Joon-ho. The series is based on a webtoon of the same name.

Kim, 22, debuted in 2009 through the film “A Brand New Life” and rose to popularity through “The Man From Nowhere” (2010), in which she co-starred with Won Bin. Her other notable works include the films “A Girl at My Door” (2014), “Snowy Road” (2015) and the television series “Secret Healer” (2016) on JTBC.
