Chicken and beer set at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam District, southern Seoul [GRAND INTERCONTINENTAL SEOUL PARNAS]

Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

Through Aug. 31: Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong offers a chicken and beer set that includes chef-prepared Premium Roast Chicken cooked in a patented cooking method alongside signature craft beer as a to-go option. The chicken and beer set, perfect for outdoor picnics, can be ordered with wine or homemade fruit juice for kids instead of beer. Premium Roast Chicken is recommended as a unique invigorating food for the summer season.

Premium Roast Chicken, cured with naturally carbonated water from Chojeong-ri, has a noticeably tender meat texture and boasts an extraordinary flavor due to the finishing touch of garlic butter and truffle oil. The sumptuous side menu includes Quatro Chicken, made of chicken breast filled with four types of cheese and spinach; Crispy Chicken, roasted instead of deep-fried and prepared with cured chicken leg meat soaked in milk and then covered with specially prepared spices and flavoring; tender butter potato; and asparagus. The set also comes with two types of homemade sauce developed by chefs — nutty Green Pepper Corn Sauce and Honey Spicy Mayo Sauce, as well as premium handmade pickles.

The signature craft beer included in the set is two cans of “Art Pale Ale” instantly canned on the spot in specially made aluminum cans to fully preserve the flavor and aroma of beer. “Art Pale Ale” has a citric aroma with a hint of orange and grapefruit. Alternatively, two bottles of homemade juice or a bottle of wine can be selected instead of beer. Premium Roast Chicken requires reservation 24 hours in advance and is available for 63,000 won ($49.75) for the single item or from 73,000 won (tax included) for the craft beer or homemade fruit juice set.
