Brave Entertainment, the agency behind Brave Girls and DKB, announced Monday that it launched a virtual singer named Hip-Kongz.

Hip-Kongz also has a fictional backstory: the non-fungible token (NFT) character named Meta Kongz debuts as a singer thanks to producer Brave Brothers. Brave Brothers is the real-life producer and founder of Brave Entertainment.

The virtual singer’s debut song “Bam,” which means “night” in Korean, sings about feeling small and lonely in the middle of the night.

“We want to be judged purely based on the music, so we are not going to reveal the singer who is actually behind the song,” said Brave Entertainment. “We want to give more power to virtual characters. This project is a good opportunity to utilize our management and producing know-how from real life.”
