Upcoming girl group Lapillus unveils logo video ahead of debut

MLD Entertainment’s upcoming girl group Lapillus revealed its logo video on YouTube on Monday.

The video shows six mysterious rays of light shifting into the letters “LAPILLUS,” followed by the girl group’s logo image.

Lapillus is set to debut on June 20 and has more teasers to come, according to MLD Entertainment.

The six members of Lapillus — Shana, Haeun, Seowon, Yue, Bessie and Chanty — were unveiled in May. Shana, a Japanese member whose real name is Nonaka Shana, was formerly a contestant on Mnet’s audition show “Girls Planet 999” (2021).” Chanty, whose real name is Chantal Videla, is a Filipina-Argentinian singer and actor. Yue is Chinese-American.

MLD Entertainment is the agency behind girl group Momoland and boy band T1419.

Lapillus is MLD’s first girl group to debut in six years, since Momoland.
