Tetra Pak Korea promotes products at 2022 Sweden Day

Tetra Pak Korea, a food packaging company, participated in the 2022 Sweden Day event on Tuesday to promote its products as eco-friendly.

The event was held Tuesday in southern Seoul at Gabitseom on the Han River. The Swedish Embassy in Korea annually hosts the event to commemorate the National Day of Sweden, which falls on June 6 every year.

At the event, Tetra Pak Korea showcased its aseptic cartons packages, which they claim to be recyclable. Its packaging is used by products such as Maeil Dairies' Maeil Milk, Almond Breeze and Sangha Farm milks.

The company gave away canvas bags, mugs and drinks in Tetra Pak packages to people who visited its booth.

“We are delighted to share Tetra Pak’s efforts towards a sustainable future at Sweden Day, which was held offline for the first time in two years,” said Alejandro Cabal, president and representative director of Tetra Pak Korea. “Tetra Pak will continue to make various efforts to protect the domestic environment, including conducting activities to increase the recycling rate of aseptic cartons.”
