Korea will open its first Legoland Hotel on July 1.
The Hotel is located right next to the entrance of Legoland Korea Resort, which opened on May 5, on Jungdo Island in Chuncheon, Gangwon. The theme park is the first in Korea to have a dedicated hotel at the site.
Legoland Hotel is four stories tall, with 154 rooms to accommodate guests. Each room is designed in one of the four themes — pirates, medieval kingdoms and two Lego movies, Lego Friends and Ninjago.
The hotel’s premium room with a king-sized bed, which includes a Legoland admission for two, costs around 1 million won per day on the weekends and around 700,000 won on weekdays.
The hotel aims to provide a fun experience for visitors. Each room will have a series of questions the guests have to solve to get a passcode for a treasure chest in their rooms, unlocking a welcome gift.
An outdoor pool for kids, Water Play, is located in the second floor of the hotel. Adventure Play, an indoor playground, is also located on the same floor. Korea’s Legoland Hotel is the first to have such indoor play area.
