Kang So-yeon of Netflix's 'Single’s Inferno' to drop single on June 22

Kang So-yeon, who shot to stardom after appearing in the hit Netflix dating reality show “Single’s Inferno,” will launch a career as a singer.

On Wednesday afternoon, Kang uploaded a picture of herself with the caption “Special gift for you” on her Instagram. The photograph shows Kang dreamily gazing into the camera, wrapped in a frilly top with neon lighting.

The same photo was released on the social media channels of entertainment agency Brand New Music, with the release date of Kang’s solo single “Loca Loca,” which is set to drop on June 22.

The agency explained in a statement that her upcoming song “Loca Loca” is targeted toward her fans in South America, an area where Kang has been particularly popular.

Kang is also planning on holding a fan meet tour overseas after the song’s release sometime during the latter half of the year.

“Loca Loca” will drop at 12 p.m. on June 22 across music streaming sites.
