Girl group Viviz will return to the music scene next month with a new EP.

According to label Big Planet Made, the group will drop its second EP “Summer Vibe” on July 6 across local music streaming sites. The EP comes five months after the group released its debut EP “Beam Of Prism” in February.

“The group is aiming for the position of ‘Summer Queens’ with their maturity,” an insider from the label said.

Viviz consists of ex-GFriend members Eunha, SinB and Umji. GFriend, the girl group that the three members once belonged to, debuted in 2015 and disbanded in May of 2021.

Viviz became the first K-pop group to virtually perform for the Grammys’ digital series “Global Spin!” in April, where it showcased the lead track “Bop Pop!” from its debut EP. The series attempts to put a variety of music and artists in the limelight.
