Co-ed group KARD sold more than 20,000 copies of its latest EP “Re:” in the week since it was released on June 22, DSP Media said Friday.

According to data from Korea's album sales tracker Hanteo Chart, this number is five times more than its previous EP “Way with Words” (2020).

“Re:” appeared on the iTunes charts of 16 nations including Mexico, Spain and the United States, and was included in the top 10 of China’s QQ Music K-pop chart. The music video for “Ring The Alarm,” the lead track from “Re:,” was viewed more than 20 million times within four days of being posted to YouTube.

KARD debuted in 2017 with the EP “Hola Hola.” It has four members: Jeon Somin, Jeon Jiwoo, BM and J.seph. KARD is particularly popular in South America and is best known for songs like “Oh NaNa” (2016), “Don’t Recall” (2017), “Bomb Bomb” (2019) and “Red Moon” (2020).

The group will start another world tour “2022 Wild KARD In Latin America” in late July, in cities including Mexico City and Buenos Aires.
