Dancer and choreographer No:ze denied allegations that she failed to fulfill an advertising contract because she did not think the brand was luxurious enough, according to her agency Starting House on Monday.

"It is not true that No:ze prioritizes uploads for luxury brands over medium-sized brands. It is also not true that she receives between 30 million won ($23,000) and 50 million won per post," Starting House said in a statement on Monday.

The statement follows a news article that said No:ze failed to upload a non-luxury brand's item to social media during the period defined in her contract. After the brand pursued her for months, she reportedly uploaded the item long past the deadline and then deleted it soon afterward. The report also said that No:ze's Instagram now barely displays any non-luxury brands' posts.

Regarding the order that No:ze posts on Instagram, the agency said that it "checks the period that they have to upload the post in the contract, delivers the schedule to the artist and they upload it according to the deadline."

"We will do our best to communicate with advertising officials so that misunderstandings like this don't arise," it added.

No:ze initially gained popularity in 2020 as the “pretty” backup dancer for boy band EXO member Kai’s solo song, “Mmmh.” On “Street Woman Fighter,” No:ze danced to David Guetta’s song “Hey Mama” (2015), which went viral on social media sites like TikTok and YouTube.
