Lamborghini's Huracan Tecnica sports car introduced in Korea
Lightweight technologies were used in order to maximize performance, said Francesco Scardaoni, director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific, during a release event Thursday held in Gangnam, southern Seoul.
Equipped with a 5.2-liter, ten-cylinder gasoline engine, the luxury sports car boasts up to 640 horsepower and 57.6 kilogram-meters of torque. It only takes 3.2 seconds to reach 100 kilometers per hour, and 9.1 seconds to get 200 kilometers an hour.
It can reach a maximum speed of 325 kilometers.
Huracan Tecnica comes in eight color options, but customers can choose from more than 200 colors for a fee, according to the company.
“The Huracan Tecnica condenses Lamborghini’s design and engineering expertise to create the perfect fun-to-drive Huracan, as compelling when driving to the race circuit as it is on the street itself," Scardaoni said. "We are confident that the Huracan Tecnica will create a new sensation in the Korean super sports car market.”
The sticker price starts from 340 million won ($261,000). Deliveries will begin in the first half of next year.
