Girls' Generation will be performing as a whole during the SMTown Live concert on Aug. 20, according to the agency on Tuesday.

"SMTown Live 2022 SMCU Express @ Human City_ Suwon" will also include performances by BoA; Kangta; TVXQ; Super Junior; SHINee's Key and Minho; Exo's Suho, Xiumin, Chen, D.O. and Kai; Red Velvet; NCT; aespa; GOT the beat; DJ Raiden; DJ Ginjo; and Imlay.

This will be the entertainment agency's first offline concert since “SMTown Live” was held in 2017. It will be held at Suwon World Cup Stadium in Suwon, Gyeonggi.

Tickets for the in-person concert will be available from 8 p.m. on July 26 for official fan club members, and from 8 p.m. on July 28 for the public through the local ticketing platform Yes24. The concert will also be streamed live on the streaming platform Beyond Live. Tickets to the online version of the concert will be available from 3 p.m. on Aug. 2 on the Beyond Live store.

The group's performance at the SMTown Live Concert comes ahead of Girls' Generation's new album marking its 15th anniversary. It is set for release in August. The exact date has not yet been specified.

The new album marks an end to the group's five-year hiatus. The last album was its sixth full-length album titled "Holiday Night," which was released in August 2017. Three of the eight members then left the group's agency, but Girls' Generation did not disband, telling fans that it intends to continue its activities in the future.

Currently, the group's reality show titled “Soshi Tam Tam” is airing every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on JTBC. It is also available for streaming on Tving.

Girls' Generation debuted in 2007 with the track "Into the New World." An iconic girl group in the early 2010s, it produced hits such as "Gee" (2010), "Genie" (2010) and "The Boys" (2011). Its current members are Taeyeon, Sunny, Yoona, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Seohyun.

SM’s “SMTown Live 2022: SMCU Express” themed concert series shows its artists riding the imaginary “SMCU Express” to tour cities across the globe. An online version was streamed for free on Jan. 1 and was seen by 51 million viewers across 179 countries on its YouTube channel. The agency is also planning an offline concert in Japan, titled “SMTown Live 2022: SMCU Express @Tokyo” at Tokyo Dome from Aug. 27 to 29.
