Netflix Korea original series 'A Model Family' set for release on Aug. 12

Netflix Korea’s original series “A Model Family” will be released on Aug. 12.

The poster and trailer for the upcoming series were revealed on Thursday along with the release date.

“A Model Family” revolves around Dong-ha, portrayed by Jung Woo, who is on the verge of bankruptcy and divorce. He becomes tangled up in a criminal gang after he discovers a bag full of cash left in a car — along with two bodies. Gwang-cheol, portrayed by Park Hee-soon, is a cop on the hunt for the missing money bag.

Director Kim Jin-woo behind season 2 of Netflix series “Love Alarm” and KBS's television series “Queen of Mystery” (2017) and “Suits” (2018) took the helm of the show.

Other cast members include Yoon Jin-seo, Park Ji-yeon, Choi Mu-sung, Kim Seung-o, Oh Kwang-rok and Kim Shin-rock.
