Kakao TV will launch its new music entertainment show “Idol Hit Song Festival” on Wednesday, the streaming platform said the same day.  
 
“Idol Hit Song Festival” will feature Gen Z K-pop idols who reinterpret and sing nostalgic K-pop hits from years gone by, complete with fashion from that era.
 
Wednesday’s first episode will feature singers Jeong Se-woon, Ryu Su-jeong of former girl group Lovelyz, Song Yu-vin, Woodz (also known as Cho Seung-youn), and members Kim Dong-han and Yoo Yong-ha of boy band WEi. 
 
The music lineup for the first episode includes g.o.d’s “Road” (2001) and Lee Ki-chan’s “Beautiful Woman” (2007).
 
New episodes will be air every Wednesday and Friday at 8 p.m. on KakaoTV, Kakao Entertainment’s YouTube channel “Norae_ing” and local music streaming website Melon.
