Lee JQ to direct upcoming Netflix original 'Daily Dose of Sunshine'

Director Lee JQ of hit Netflix original zombie series “All of Us Are Dead” will take helm of another upcoming Netflix original “Daily Dose of Sunshine," according to the streaming service Thursday.
 
Netflix Korea announced the news along with the cast.
 
The narrative revolves around a nurse named Jung Da-eun and the patients she meets.
 
Based on a Kakao Webtoon of the same title by cartoonist Lee Ra-ha, who is a former nurse, the story depicts how each patient resolves their issues.
 
Actor Park Bo-young will portray rookie nurse Jung Da-eun who treats each patient with sincerity. Actor Yeon Woo-jin will portray an eccentric proctologist Dong Go-geun, and Jang Dong-yoon will play Da-eun’s best friend Song Yoo-chan who hides some personal pain beneath his cheery demeanor.
 
Actor Lee Jung-eun will portray veteran chief nurse of the ward Song Hyo-shin.
 
Writers Lee Nam-gyu, Oh Bo-hyun and Kim Da-hee will write the script and local production company Film Monster, who was also behind “All of Us Are Dead,” will also work on the show.
