Singer and actor IU, who last appeared in director Hirokazu Kore-eda’s “Broker” in June, is returning to her singing career.

IU will host her solo concert “The Golden Hour” at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Songpa District, southern Seoul, on Sept. 17 and 18, according to her agency EDAM Entertainment on Thursday.

This will be the singer’s first solo concert in three years since she last went on tour in 2019 for “Love, Poem,” where she took to the stage in four cities in Korea and six other Asian cities.

“IU will return to the stage, and it will be an event where she can sincerely talk about her music with her fans,” EDAM Entertainment said.

This is the first time for a Korean female solo singer to perform at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium, according to the agency.

The stadium can accommodate up to 100,000 audience members and is referred to as the dream stage for local artists. Recently, BTS and singer PSY performed at the stadium.

Information about ticket reservations has yet to be disclosed.
