Girl group Blackpink will make a comeback with a full-length album next month, following a hiatus of almost two years, according to YG Entertainment on Monday.

The agency uploaded a video on Monday on its official blog announcing “Blackpink will drop a full-length album in September.”

While the video did not reveal any specific dates or time, it stated that the pre-release songs will come in August, the full album in September, and a world tour in October.

Blackpink’s last music was its full-length album “The Album,” which was released in October 2020. Blackpink pre-released songs “How You Like That” (2020) and “Ice Cream” (2020) prior to dropping "The Album," and will have a similar promotional schedule for the upcoming album.

“This comeback project is titled ‘Born Pink,’” YG Entertainment added.

“It summarizes Blackpink’s identity and exceptional aura.”
