Man caught trying to swim as Typhoon Hinnamnor hits Busan

A man was spotted swimming on Haeundae Beach on Tuesday morning despite safety concerns due to Typhoon Hinnamnor.
 
The video of a man going into the water was uploaded online, arousing criticisms from online commenters. The man came out of the water safely after people near the beach shouted for him to come out, and was reported to the police, according to the person who uploaded the video. 
 
When asked why he went swimming, the man said he just “wanted to swim,” according to the Busan police.
 
The man was let off with a warning.
 
A YouTuber who was trying to film the thunderous waters behind seawalls in Haeundae District, Busan was also escorted to safety by police at around 11:40 p.m. on Monday.
 
The Youtuber had been knocked over by the waves and had minor injuries.
