Naver Cloud on Monday said that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Cloud4C, a Singaporean cloud service company, to secure its foothold in the Asian market.

The two companies will co-develop a detailed business action plan targeting the Korean and the Southeastern markets. Cloud4C will manage and optimize Naver Cloud’s services in Asian countries such as Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Naver Cloud plans to offer education to Cloud4C’s engineers and sales team on Naver Cloud's services.

“Based on our know-how for co-building the business model, Cloud4C will support Naver Cloud to maximize its key strengths as a strategic MSP [managed service provider] partner, potentially extending to Data Centre and co-location cooperation across the globe,” said Cloud4C Chairman Sridhar Pinnapureddy.

“Naver Cloud aims to expand its global presence while improving its foothold as one of the top 3 CSP [cloud service providers] in the Asia-Pacific regions,” said Park Weon-gi, Naver Cloud CEO. “With the signing of the agreement, we expect to support our clients’ digital transformation and boost our business in the Asean market, based on Cloud4C’s expertise and experience in the global partnership.”
