Naver Cloud signed a memorandum of understanding with Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

Naver Cloud will support KTO with cloud technologies, Papago and application programming interface (API) in utilizing tourism information accumulated by the organization.

Naver will provide map-related APIs from Naver Map to KTO's tourism website VisitKorea, where users can search for tourist spots and ways to get there. The system will be available by the first half of this year.

The two parties will work together to upgrade smart services in foreign languages for KTO.

“Through integrating Naver’s technologies with KTO’s data, we plan to roll out services that help both local and foreign tourists,” said Naver Cloud’s executive director Kim Tae-chang said.
