Artist Kibong Rhee, well known for his mystic landscape paintings that seem to be veiled with fog, explains his latest works at Kukje Gallery, central Seoul, where his solo show “Where You Stand” started on Thursday. Rhee created the unique landscape paintings of spatial illusions by painting on two or more layers of plexiglass or polyester fiber and overlapping them. As for the latest works, he overlapped sheets on which he wrote text by philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein and sheets on which he painted landscapes. The exhibition runs through Dec. 31.
