Park Jin-young to release solo album, embark on fan meet-and-greet tour in January

Singer and actor Park Jin-young will release a solo album and go on a fan meet-and-greet tour in January, according to BH Entertainment Thursday.

Park celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his debut in the entertainment industry this year. He first starred in the KBS2 drama series “Dream High 2” in 2012 and then made his official debut as a singer in January 2014 as a member of boy band GOT7.

“Park, who has been working non-stop juggling both of his careers as a singer and an actor, will release a solo album in January 2023 to celebrate his 10-year anniversary this year for his fans who’ve been sincerely supporting him,” the agency said.

Park released a solo digital single “Dive” in July 2021, for which he helped write the lyrics and arrange the melody, and also returned to the music scene as a member of GOT7 in May.

The actor is currently busy filming for the upcoming drama series “The Witch” (translated). The series is based on a popular Kakao Webtoon with the same title by Kangfull and will air next year.
