Oh My Girl's YooA to release full-length solo album next month

YooA of girl group Oh My Girl will be releasing her own solo album.

According to her agency WM Entertainment, YooA is preparing for her first full-length album, scheduled to drop next month. Information about the upcoming album will be released accordingly.

YooA, one of the group’s main vocalists, was the first member to start a solo career with her EP “Bon Voyage” in September 2020. The EP’s title track was praised for its unconventional concept and sound for a K-pop idol song, as well as YooA’s signature crystal clear voice, topping local music streaming charts and appearing on music shows.

The music video for the song also surpassed 10 million views in four days since its release.

YooA earned the nickname “human cherry” for her baby face and fresh complexion. She is a frequent guest on popular television shows such as MBC’s “Midnight Horror Story (Late Night Ghost Talk)” and Channel A’s “The Fishermen and the City” this year.
