Singer Lee Seung-gi reportedly demanded that his agency Hook Entertainment fully disclose his payment records, according to local entertainment news outlet Dispatch on Monday.

Also according to the report, Lee, who has been a popular singer since his debut in 2004, has not received any payment for the digital streams or downloads of his songs.

Lee has come out with a total of 137 songs throughout his 18-year career, many of which are still widely-known hits.

Lee reportedly sent a letter showing that he should have been compensated and demanding that the account statement and exact amount be made public through his legal representative, law firm Bae, Kim & Lee.

Hook previously issued a statement on Friday that it received legal documents from Lee, before Dispatch reported Lee's claims that he did not receive any financial compensation for his music being streamed and downloaded online.

“Because of the gravity of the issue, we are unable to speak any more about it,” Hook said in Friday’s statement. “We are trying to resolve the problem without any misunderstanding on both parties.”

Hook Entertainment’s public relations team could not be reached for comment by the Korea JoongAng Daily as of Monday afternoon.

The agency is currently under police investigation and was subject to a search and seizure on Nov. 10. The charges have not yet been made public.
