President Yoon Suk-yeol held a virtual meeting with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk Wednesday.
Yoon asked Musk to invest in electric vehicle (EV) production in Korea, to which Musk said that Korea was being considered as one of the top candidates for a gigafactory to produce EVs, according to the presidential office.
