Fans of BTS's Jin, who is currently serving his mandatory military service, have been asked to refrain from sending him letters and gifts.

군 복무중인 BTS 진의 팬들은 신병교육대에 편지와 선물 발송을 자제해 달라는 요청을 받았다.

“If letters and gifts from fans are delivered intensely at once it is difficult to store them there is a risk of loss,” Jin's agency Big Hit Music said in a post on fan community platform Weverse Thursday. “So we urge fans to refrain from sending more letters and gifts.”

진의 소속사 빅히트뮤직은 목요일 팬 커뮤니티 플랫폼 위버스에 공지를 올리며 “팬들의 편지와 선물이 한꺼번에 집중적으로 전달될 경우 보관이 어렵고 분실의 위험이 있다”며 “편지, 선물 등의 우편배송은 자제해 주실 것을 당부드린다”고 말했다.

The agency said that the recruitment training center is a space shared by all soldiers and the purpose of the space is for military training, asking fans to stop sending letters and gifts to normalize Jin’s training.

소속사 측은 신병교육대가 일반 장병들이 함께 사용하는 공간이며 군사 훈련을 위한 공간이기 때문에 팬들에게 진이 훈련을 정상적으로 받을 수 있도록 편지와 선물 보내는 것을 자제해 달라고 당부했다.

Big Hit Music also asked fans to hold back from visiting the recruitment training ceremony when Jin finishes his training at the center in Gyeonggi.

빅히트뮤직은 또한 진의 신병교육 수료때에도 경기도에 있는 현장 방문을 삼가 달라고 당부했다.

“In order to prevent safety accidents due to congestion at the site, we ask that fans hold back from visiting and ask that fans support and encourage Jin from afar,” said the agency. “We appreciate the unwavering support and love for Jin that fans have shown and we will spare no effort to make sure that Jin fulfills his military service well and returns in good health.
