Girl group Kara met with fans in Japan for the first time in eight years, finishing off three meet and greet events held in three cities across Japan.

The event, held as a part of the band's 15th anniversary celebration under the title "Kara 15th Anniversary Fan Meeting 2023~Move Again," was first held on Feb. 23 in Osaka, followed by an event in Fukuoka on Feb. 26 and finished off with an event in Yokohama on Friday.

Kara opened up each event with a performance of the Japanese version of its latest track "Move Again" (2022), followed by the band's past hits such as “Mr.” (2009) and “Step" (2011).

The band's last meet-up with fans was in 2015 in Tokyo. The band, which debuted in 2007, had been inactive following the release of its seventh EP "In Love" in 2015 until last November, when the bandmates reunited to release its latest album "Move Again."

"We were able to come back as Kara because we had you fans," leader Park Gyu-ri said. "I want to thank [fan club] Kamilia so much. Thank you for remembering us, for allowing us to be on stage again."
