'Marry My Dead Body' actor visits Korea for third time

Taiwanese actor Greg Han visited Korea for the third time this year on Friday to promote his new film “Marry My Dead Body,” and expressed enthusiasm for his visit here.

“I am so glad to be able to visit Korea again through this new film,” Han said during the press conference for the film at CGV Yongsan in central Seoul on Friday.

“Marry My Dead Body” is a supernatural comedy mystery directed by Cheng Wei-hao, in which Han plays a homophobic policeman who gets involved with a ghost, played by Austin Lin.

“I decided to participate in ‘Marry My Dead Body’ because it deals with a lot of issues pertaining to modern society,” said Han.

The film topped the box office in Taiwan upon its release on Feb. 10, surpassing “The First Slam Dunk” and ranking it the seventh most-watched film in Taiwan of all time.

Han visited Korea this year for “Someday or One Day,” (2022) and again last month for the Baeksang Arts Awards.

“'Marry My Dead Body’ is a very different film from ‘Someday or One Day,” said Han. “I hope this comedy film entertains and moves audiences here in Korea.”

Han is scheduled to meet with Korean fans directly during his events this visit.

“Marry My Dead Body” opens exclusively in CGV theaters on May 17.
