Prosecutors raided the offices of multiple cryptocurrency exchanges to probe into the alleged fabrication of the amount of Wemix tokens put into circulation.
 
The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office raided Upbit, Bithumb and Coinone exchanges Wednesday to secure data on Wemix's issuance and distribution, according to legal sources Thursday.
 
Twenty Wemix investors have filed a suit against Chang Hyun-guk, CEO of Wemade, a game publisher that issues Wemix tokens, for unfair and fraudulent trading.
