Authentic Flamenco by the Royal Opera of Madrid will strike Korea following North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific stops.

As part of the upcoming summer world tour, Authentic Flamenco, which has been attended by Spain’s Queen Sophia, will show the passion of Spain in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Gwangju, while presenting the most well-known flamenco dancers, singers and musicians, including renowned dancer Paula Rodríguez. The global tour has already gathered glowing reviews in New York, Sao Paulo and London.

Flamenco is based on passion and emotion, displayed through the entire body including clapping and feet stamping, and expresses a strong will for life.

Authentic Flamenco features traditional Spanish culture – quejíos: a tearing voice sound at the peak of the song, bata de cola: long back hemlines from flamenco dress, and mantón: shoulder shawl for mantón flamenco.

These passionate performances will be held every Friday to Sunday in Seoul, from June 16 to July 16. There are five different tickets that range in price from 59,000 won ($46.40) to 139,000 won. Meet and greet will be offered with VIP and VIP+ tickets allowing guests to take pictures with artists after the performance. Tickets can be purchased on Fever’s official website or app.
