Enhypen will collaborate with the video game and animation franchise Pokémon, releasing "One and Only" on July 12, the boy band's agency Belift Lab said Friday.
The collaboration is a part of the Pokémon Music Collective, Pokémon's upcoming project which, utilizing Pokémon's game sounds, allows different artists to create new series of music.
Enhypen will drop its collaborated track, "One and Only," on July 12, followed by a music video teaser which will be released on July 5.
Enhypen will kick off its second world tour, "Fate," with a two-day performance at the KSPO Dome, Songpa District in southern Seoul on July 29 and 30, followed by performances in cities including Osaka, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Chicago from September.
Enhypen debuted in November 2020 under Belift Lab, a subsidiary of HYBE. The band was formed in September of the same year through cable network Mnet and HYBE's audition show "I-LAND" (2020).
The band's seven members are Sunoo, Jake, Jay, Heeseung, Sunghoon, Jungwon and Ni-ki. The band's most popular tracks include "Drunk-Dazed," "Fever" from EP "Border: Carnival" (2021), "Given-Taken" from EP "Border: Day One" (2020) and "Polaroid Love" from repackaged full-length album "Dimension: Answer" (2022).
Pokémon, first started as a role-playing game for Nintendo's handheld console Gameboy, is a global video game and animation franchise. It is owned by The Pokémon Company, a joint business between Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures.
