JW Marriott Hotel Seoul

Announcement: JW Marriott, a leading luxury hotel by Marriott International, focuses on creating exceptional spaces from which guests can draw natural inspiration and genuinely relax. Embodying these core brand values, JW Marriott Hotel Seoul has created a unique JW Garden for hotel guests' well-being.

Sharing a space with the hotel’s seventh-floor Margaux Grill and MOBO Bar, the JW Garden is open not only to restaurant diners but to all hotel guests, and is an urban sanctuary where 23 varieties of plants and trees meet breathtaking views of the city. The natural scene greeting visitors upon arrival at the garden is a source of wonder and inspiration.

Parasol-covered terrace tables and hanging chairs invite guests to discover genuine relaxation, creating ideal settings for meditation or quiet reading. The garden thus embodies JW Marriott’s vision of creating serene spaces that allow guests time to relax alone and rediscover a sense of balance. Additionally, the European-style garden is an elegant expression of natural calm and stability filled with photogenic spots ideal for sharing on Instagram.

Visitors can also enjoy discovering the wide variety of plants that flower from spring to autumn. Full of highlights such as bergamot, celebrated for its iconic aroma, and peonies, now in full bloom, the garden is complemented by a specially-produced map indicating the name and location of each plant, allowing guests to learn more about the world of flora and grow closer to nature. The labels next to each plant and tree have QR codes that link to in-depth information. Reflecting the environmental focus of the space, the JW Garden Map can be accessed via QR codes displayed on digital signage throughout the hotel, minimizing the use of printed materials.

“We will cultivate the JW Garden on an ongoing basis to create a nature-friendly space that acts as a respite for the mind and spirit,” commented a hotel official. “We also plan to launch new children's programs whereby they can experience nature in the heart of the city.” JW Marriott Hotel Seoul has also installed its own ‘smart farms,’ plant-based air purification systems that bring nature into a variety of locations throughout the hotel, to help guests be naturally inspired. Innovations like these are establishing the hotel as a pioneer of natural healing in the heart of the city.

Through July 31: The Margaux Grill at JW Marriott Seoul is renowned for its menu of haute cuisine, crafted by master grill chefs and served in a lush setting evoking the ambiance of a European secret garden. In celebration of the greenest season of the year, The Margaux Grill presents the Garden Herbs promotion, a series of dishes inspired by a garden brimming with natural life and energy to delight the eyes and palate.

Available for a limited period only, when summer’s seasonal produce is at its finest, the promotion features dishes artfully paired with garden herbs to maximize the fresh flavors of nature. Highlights include premium seafood and Hanwoo beef, with five courses at lunch and six at dinner.

Courses begin with Tuna Tartare, showcasing the unforgettable flavor pairing of avocado and herbs, followed by Chodang Corn Soup with premium grilled seafood. The main dish is an immaculately crafted natural landscape of potato pavé and asparagus on an "earth" bed of garden herbs and black olive tapenade, served with premium-grade Hanwoo 1++ beef tenderloin in a celebration of authentic grilled cuisine. A final course of dessert paired with seasonal herbs concludes a diverse menu exploring the full range and depth of summer’s natural flavors.

The seasonal menu is elevated by a choice of more than 800 wines from The Margaux Grill’s expansive cellar while dining at an outdoor table among plants, trees and blooming flowers promises to deepen each natural gourmet dining experience.

The Garden Herbs promotion, an elegant reinterpretation of summer’s freshest flavors, is available until July 31, with lunch and dinner priced at 140,000 won ($108) and 220,000 won, respectively, including tax and service charge.
