Through May 31: JW Marriott Hotel Seoul unveiled its latest offering, the Hello Kitty at JW package, a captivating collaboration with global character company Sanrio Korea. This unique partnership blends the opulence of a luxury hotel with the beloved charm of Hello Kitty, providing an enchanting experience for guests of all ages.
 
To create unforgettable moments that resonate with both harmony and nostalgia, JW Marriott Hotel Seoul has meticulously curated this special room package suitable for families, as well as Millennial and generation Z customers accompanied by children. The package is available until May 31.
 
Guests indulging in the Hello Kitty at JW package will enjoy a one-night stay in a deluxe room adorned with character-themed amenities such as a Hello Kitty doll, bed runner, slippers, towels and a diffuser, all showcasing the delightful essence of Hello Kitty. Alternatively, the Griffin Suite offers an elevated experience with additional Hello Kitty interior decorations, including room lighting, windows, walls and bathroom mirrors. As an added bonus, guests will receive an exclusive Hello Kitty ready bag and keyring keepsakes to extend the joy beyond their stay. For those traveling with family, an in-room dining option includes a four-person set featuring chicken, fries, beer and juice.
 
Package recipients also gain complimentary access to the Marquis Fitness Club, boasting a six-lane indoor swimming pool, therapy pool and infant pool, all within an ultra-large space with optimal air quality. Additionally, guests can savor breakfast benefits at the signature buffet restaurant, Flavors, located on the hotel's second floor.

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul
 
Through Jan. 30: Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, located in Jongno District, central Seoul, is holding a special event featuring guest bartenders from Singapore and Tokyo, offering a unique opportunity for guests to interact directly with experts during the "Guest Bartending" series.
 
On Jan. 30, the hotel's speakeasy bar, Charles H., will welcome Rogerio Igarashi Vaz, the owner and bartender of Trench, the 92nd Best Bar in Asia according to the 2023 Asia's 50 Best Bars list. Vaz will showcase four signature cocktails, and in the afternoon, a masterclass titled "Exploring Japan's Nightlife: From Cocktail Bars to Reggae Bars" will provide a firsthand experience of Vaz's bartending skills and cocktail philosophy. After 8:00 p.m., guests can savor cocktails crafted by his skilled hands.
 
The four unique cocktails presented by Vaz include the refreshing Kinkan Sling, the harmonious blend of three citruses in 3 Citrus, the innovative Panettone Cocktail infusing Italian Christmas bread, and the smooth Point Blanc featuring sweet vermouth. Each cocktail is priced at 32,000 won ($24) per glass.
 
Charles H. is known for drawing inspiration from cities covered in the renowned American author Charles H. Baker Jr.'s book, "Gentlemen's Companion," showcasing cocktails inspired by various urban landscapes. This guest bartending event at Charles H. is a continuation of their ongoing Companion Series promotion, which invites famous bartenders every month to present new cocktails.
 
From Jan. 19 to 20, the hotel's second-floor Korean contemporary bar, OUL, hosted Eduardo Zamora, general manager of Junior the Pocket Bar in Singapore, showcasing four special cocktails. Zamora, acclaimed as the 2019 Bacardi Legacy Southeast Asia Champion and the 2022 World Gourmet Awards Mixologist of the Year, brought his expertise and creative flair to Seoul. Known for his innovative use of local ingredients such as makgeolli, gochujang and more, Zamora captivated the local audience with his signature creations.
 
 
 
OUL, a Korean contemporary bar on the second floor of the hotel, transforms the dynamic nightlife of Seoul into a unique space where traditional, modern and contemporary elements coexist. Presenting a variety of domestically produced spirits and cocktails that blend modern sensibilities with traditional Korean soul food, OUL regularly hosts encounters with artisans in the fields of art, food and beverages, earning popularity among foreign tourists and the MZ generation.
 
 
Through April 30: Four Seasons Hotel Seoul welcomes the globally acclaimed pastry chef, Pierre-Jean Quinonero, referred to as Pierre Jean, to celebrate the New Year. He visited the hotel from Jan. 11 to 14, passing on his menu and techniques to the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul pastry team and personally meeting with customers. Following his visit, customers at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul can now enjoy his award-winning hazelnut and vanilla Paris-Brest and the specially crafted strawberry bingsu (shaved ice) through April 30.
 
Pierre Jean, recognized with the Passion Dessert award by the Michelin Guide 2023 and named Pastry Chef of the Year by the global gastronomic guide La Liste in 2023, is renowned for his expertise. Additionally, he earned the title of 2021 Dessert Champion of France in Paris's esteemed gastronomic guide, Guide Lebey. Despite his young age of 29, Pierre Jean stands out as a leading figure in the new generation of pastry chefs. Currently overseeing the entire bakery and dessert offerings, including the Michelin Guide one-star restaurant Le Cap, at The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, Four Seasons Hotel, near Nice, France.
 
Chef Pierre Jean is celebrated for his ability to minimize sugar content while maximizing the natural sweetness of fruits, honey and more, creating pastries with rich flavors. Emphasizing the use of local seasonal ingredients, diverse textures, and modern design, he has carved out a unique style.
 
Pierre Jean will present two signature items that exemplify his distinctive style. Firstly, his iconic hazelnut and vanilla Paris-Brest features a crispy ring-shaped choux pastry made from unique puff pastry dough with cream piping techniques. The harmonious blend of subtle and natural sweetness from hazelnut and vanilla cream showcases a delightful contrast of crispy exterior and moist interior. Collaborating with Four Seasons Hotel Seoul pastry head chef Jimmy Boulay, chef Pierre Jean also introduces a strawberry bingsu, a reinterpretation of his signature dessert vacherin frasie. This creation combines domestically sourced strawberries with meringue and Chantilly cream, presenting an unparalleled French luxury dessert experience in the form of Strawberry Bingsoo.
  
Chef Pierre Jean's exclusive menu can be savored at the lobby lounge, Maru, at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, and the hazelnut and vanilla Paris-Brest is also available at the hotel's bakery, Confections by Four Seasons. Prices for the hazelnut and vanilla Paris-Brest are 22,000 won for the small size and 98,000 won for the large size, while the strawberry bingsu is priced at 98,000 won.
