Seventeen and New Kids On The Block will come together for a collaborated music release, set to drop on Friday.

New Kids On The Block is an American boy band that was formed back in 1984. The five members reformed the band in 2008.

“New Kids On The Block’s new song featuring Seventeen will be released on Sept. 1,” Seventeen’s agency Pledis Entertainment said Thursday in a press release.

Prior to the agency’s press release, New Kids On The Block’s Twitter account teased the upcoming collaboration last Friday by tweeting the number “17,” referring to the Korean boy band. Another seven-second long clip was uploaded on Thursday announcing that New Kids On The Block and Seventeen’s collaborated song will drop on Sept. 1.

The title of the upcoming collaborated track was not revealed.

Seventeen debuted in 2015 under Pledis Entertainment. The boy band is set to kick off "Seventeen Tour 'Follow' to Japan," a "dome tour" across Japan, performing in Tokyo Dome, Belluna Dome in Saitama, Vantelin Dome Nagoya, Kyocera Dome Osaka and the Fukuoka PayPay Dome from Sept. 6 to Dec. 16.

The agency announced earlier this month that its member S.Coups will take a temporary break from all activities due to a recent injury he suffered to his knee.
