Lightsum will come back with its second EP, 17 months after the girl group released its first EP "Into The Light."

"Lightsum will end its hiatus, and an October comeback is confirmed," the girl group's agency, CUBE Entertainment, said Monday.

The album will be released in the second week of October, CUBE Entertainment added.

Details about the upcoming album, including the name of the EP, will be released at a later date.

Lightsum debuted in 2021 with its first single "Vanilla." The group has been taking a break from album releases following the release of "Light a Wish" in October 2021 and its first EP "Into The Light," which dropped in May 2022.

The girl group also held its first fan meeting, "The Best Birthday Ever!" in February.
