Several Korean nationals have left Lebanon as Hezbollah and Israel's conflict has escalated, according to the Foreign Ministry.

The ministry, however, did not provide the exact number of people left in the country.

According to the government, there are currently around 170 Korean nationals in Lebanon. However, the figure did not include the Korean nationals in Lebanon as part of the United Nations Interim Force.

The government has been urging Koreans in both Israel and Lebanon to leave the country since Thursday.

On Thursday, 18 Koreans were evacuated from Israel after boarding a flight provided by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.

The government estimates there are 460 Koreans remaining in Israel.

Nearly a week ago, the Korea Air Force evacuated 163 Koreans from Israel, along with 51 Japanese nationals and 6 Singaporean nationals.
