Land Rover’s All-New Defender 130 [LAND ROVER]

Land Rover’s All-New Defender 130 [LAND ROVER]

Land Rover's all-new Defender 130 is setting the new standard for luxury SUVs suitable for large families.

Many customers opting for three-row vehicles have been left feeling cramped, as such models often fall short of providing adequate legroom.

But compared to the previous model, the all-new Defender 130 features an increased rear overhang of approximately 340 millimeters (13 inches), a class-leading width of 1,200 millimeters and roomy legroom with 804 millimeters in the third row.

Additionally, its squared-off design ensures ample headroom, allowing three adults to comfortably sit in the back row.

When the second and third rows of seats are folded down, users have a roomy 2,291 liters of cargo space at their disposal. The seats also allow split folding so that they can be configured to the space freely, according to the user’s needs.

The vehicle has managed to retain its off-roader identity, however, and is still equipped for 21st-century adventures and rugged terrain.

The all-new Defender 130 incorporates an electronic air suspension system, which is applied to the entire range of models. In off-road scenarios, it can raise its ground clearance by up to 75 millimeters, and in extreme off-road conditions, it lifts the chassis by as much as 145 millimeters.

In Korea, two trims have been released for the All-New Defender 130: the P400 X Dynamic HSE model with a mild hybrid gasoline engine and the D300 X Dynamic HSE model with an mild hybrid diesel engine.

There’re chock full of technology too. Land Rover's latest smart infotainment system is seamlessly integrated with the vehicle and enables over-the-air software updates to keep everything up to date.
