Rhymer, Ahn Hyun-mo end marriage after 6 years

Rhymer, a rapper and producer, and Ahn Hyun-mo, a TV personality, have divorced, Rhymer’s agency Brand New Music confirmed Monday.

“Rhymer and Ahn have recently wrapped up divorce proceedings,” a spokesperson for Brand New Music told the JoongAng Ilbo, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily. “They have decided to remain good colleagues who will root for one another.”

Rhymer, whose real name is Kim Se-hwan, established Brand New Music in 2011 and the music label has produced and released a wide variety of hip-hop songs. Ahn worked as a reporter for SBS between 2009 and 2016 and has since worked as a broadcaster and translator.

The couple tied the knot in 2017 and appeared in a number of variety shows, including “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny” (2017) and “We Cha-cha-cha” (2022).
