Chef Son Jong-won named one of New Talents of Year 2024 by culinary guide La Liste

Josun Hotels & Resorts head chef Son Jong-won has been named one of the New Talents of the Year 2024 by La Liste at its awards ceremony held in Paris on Monday, the hotel chain said Wednesday.

He is the only Korean chef to win the honor this year.

La Liste is a global gastronomy guide that announces the world's 1,000 best restaurants.

Son received the award along with five others. The award is given to six promising chefs from around the world.

Son is in charge of L'Amant Secret and Eatanic Garden, both operated by Josun Hotels & Resorts.

In the La Liste 2024, 36 Korean restaurants made the top 1,000, including Michelin-starred La Yeon, Mosu Seoul and Mingles.
