Netflix revealed the "Squid Game Season Two" set to reporters in Korea on Thursday. The series began shooting in July and is slated for release mid to late next year. The preceding season from 2021 holds the record as Netflix’s most popular series of all time, having logged over 1.65 billion viewing hours in its first 28 days of release. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who was in attendance at the press set visit, recognized the growing anticipation of the series' new season and said that he will return the love and support with a quality final product.
