Singer Kim Jae-hwan will drop his single “Ponytail” on Jan. 24, his agency WakeOne said Monday.

It will be the singer’s first new music in seven months after his sixth EP, "J.A.M (Journey Above Music)," was released on June 20.

It is also his first new release in two months since he dropped his song “I Love you” on Nov. 11, which was a remade version of Japanese Singer Yutaka Ozaki’s 1983 song “I Love You.” The song was sung in Korean previously in 2000 by singer Position.

While other information about the single was not disclosed, a teaser poster was released on Monday, showing the single’s release date, along with an electric guitar, a shelf full of LP records and a hat.

Preorders for the single will begin on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
